Warfare Northwestern Aleppo offensive (2024)

Do you mean like Suriname or Curaçao 👀
Suriname is an independent nation. They decided to break off all cooperation with the Netherlands through elections in 2010 and the current democratically elected administration partially reversed that policy because the previous administration ruined the economy.
Curaçao voted to become an independent nation, but retain membership of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for financial, economical, military and judicial advantages. Other islands chose the same deal and some chose to become special municipalities.

Open and fair elections, unlike Turkey.

Try again ultranationalist.

I'm not ultranationalist I consider ma self as hardcore Kemalist ( mix of ecularism, nationalism, modernism, republicanism, statism, militarism and populism)

Weird... didn't they say they were tolerant good guys in an official statement?

You know, the same kind of statement that said they totally respected the Kurds, and wouldn't do anything bad to them, etc...? But went on killing them, taking women as sex slaves and such?

Man... it is almost as if these people can't be trusted huh?

oooh you mean the same kurds who killed the 30 pow's ...weird trying to white knighting those donkey conniseurs and realizing they are the same S**t...

Those are HTS not TFSA or SNA btw. Turkey may even join forces with SNA and attack HTS soon. I dont think Turkish state would allow second Raqqa near border but they keep blind eye so HTS could banish Russians & Iranians in favor of Turks. How trustworthy is a scorpion?

Guys, Let me clarify something, Turks actually despise HTS. We only support the TFSA and SNA. Supporting a semi-jihadist organization would be outright foolish thing ever.

TFSA focussing on Manbij city with 100K inhabitants currently 10k population. Manbij & Arimah + villages has potantial of 200 K refuge return potantial. These new seizures are likely to lighten the refugee burden on Turkey and Europe. If we assume that the war will intensify in Hama and the south, this seems to be the only optimistic aspect of this operation return of Refugees. 2+ million people could return home again. I hope that the new Astana process will be entered and a decision will be reached between Russia, Iran and Turkey and peace will be achieved. The next problem will be the departure of SDF and HTS from Syria.

Some observations:

1) The government Syrian forces are a hollow and ineffective force. Aleppo fell because they fled without a fight.

2) The most effective fighting force in Syria was Hezbollah. But they have been decapitated by Israel and are not able to effectively deploy to Syria.

3) The alphabet soup Islamist groups are just different versions of the same ISIS/Al-Qaeda who will need to be eventually killed if they get a foothold. They have not demonstrated any real combat effectiveness yet.

4) The only real help Iran is willing to send are it's Iraqi Shiite Militia proxies. They seem to have their hands full trying to survive attacks by Kurds and US airpower.

5) There is little chance that the alphabet soup Islamist forces will reach Damascus. Russian naval and air units are currently attacking around Aleppo.

So now the Kurds are fighting the Turkish backed Islamist alphabet soup group. My money is on the Kurds.
