Exercise Predators Run 2023 came to an epic finish, with Battlegroup Goanna’s culminating activity on Channel Island, NT.
Starting on zodiacs at the crack of dawn, soldiers from the Australian Army, U.S. Marine Corps, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Timor Leste Defence Force, and Indonesian National Armed Forces moved quickly to land, conducting assault on foot and clearing the bushland of enemy.

Nov. 16, 2023 / Southern Vanguard 24 - US Army and Brazilian Army — Southern Vanguard is an annual bilateral exercise that rotates between partner nations in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility designed to improve partner interoperability between U.S. and partner nation forces. For two weeks, US Army soldiers trained alongside Brazilian Army partners, conducting operations in the Amazon rainforest, with aerial assault techniques, urban operations and weapons familiarization.
In one exercise in 2010 after loading we noticed that in the ammo box there were live rounds mixed with blanks. (instead of a new sealed box we were given one where people had unloaded their rounds after earlier exercise, and clearly also after firing range day which really shouldn't happen...).
Of course we unloaded everything and switched to fresh box but it did bring some extra tension knowing how well some of these people were able to screw up.
