By the way. How about someone show us the whole scene then. This clip begins and ends in a very weird way – right in the middle of a change of scene. Normally, the riot police doesn't advance into a crowd unless to detain somebody or disperse an illegal gathering. Here, they don't seem to arrest anyone and they don't disperse the protestors. So, what happened? And why do they retreat immediately? There's obviously more to this incident than meets the eye.

Considering that following video, it seems the police was mostly there to "guide" the crowd.

Unreal isn't it . This is what you get when you do austerity for 10 years to try to solve a financial crisis then after the 10 years ask everyone to do another 10 . I also find it ironic that it's only small news organizations publishing these pictures while the bigger france24 type outlets stay well away .

Not the first time a protester is being shot in the head.

The main line of defense/apology from the LEOs regarding that type of accident varies from "yeah, but it's not accurate to begin with" to "well, don't climb a police truck/go near the police".
With a few "if you protest, you know what you are in for", "what makes you think he didn't deserved it" and "go complain to the authorities and an investigation will take place".

Since the YV movement started, a certain number of serious traumatic injuries (broken jaws, enucleation) at least one death (an old lady hit by a LBD round while she was in her apartment) and, also, at least one person put in a coma (shot behind the head at "close range") by the LBD.
 
Meh....... Could be said he was attacking the Police with a potentially lethal device...... Hopefully he is going to be OK.
