Jolly Roger’s. After transition to F-14 the squadron embarked on first cruise on Nimitz in Dec 1977. In 1979 unit was first TARPS capable Sqn. In 1980 it participated in motion picture The Final Countdown which made skull-and-crossbones-adorned F-14's to international stardom.
