I stumbled on this site looking for info on my Dad's 540th heavy maintenance battalion on New Hebrides WW2. I noticed someone seeking pics of Army in New Hebrides, well I have one, thought I'd share. I have pictures of them in Hiroshima December 1945 as well. Will send if interested.

Hey thanks guys, I am still stumbling a bit learning the site soooo.....

Dad is the soldier standing up on the right with no shirt on. He was older than most there at 28 or so. Tech Sargent. I will insert a few pics here , 2 from Hiroshima the December after it was bombed the other Jap POW s Mindanao Philippines. I still have the flag Dad got from a cave machine shop
behind the city- Hiroshima. Other souvenirs as well.The holes in the flag are not bullet holes as I thought as a kid but were done by moths. More later.
