There is nothing quite so bold as Communists claiming credit for literacy on the island that already had the highest literacy rates in Central America and the most teachers per head of population. For claiming credit for health care on the island that already had the most doctors per head of population in the same area. For claiming to be "for the workers" on the island that had the strongest unions. And so forth.
Being able to read isn't that good when the "approved reading list" can be read in a week.
Not fan of Castro (even less of Batista) but it is a little more complicated than that
Before 53, 75% of Cubans were litterate
But Communist litteracy campaign allowed the missing 24% to catch up (mostly poor peons that didn't had access to school under Batista)
Same for the health coverage. While before 59 physicians were well trained, more than 50% of them were concentrated in La Havana, the rest in the big cities (according this article there was only one rural hospital)
What made the Regime was to stretch the national coverage, allowing a better distribution of healthcare than it used to be
...
Looks like all hands on deck for Creepy Joe. Problem is, Bernie will win it anyway.

This is the front runner?? He can't even put a sentence together from the Declaration of Independence. "We hold these truths to be self evident....." He has both oars in the water, unfortunately they're on the same side of the boat.
It's a bit concerning. He has trouble finding words, remembering where he is and people's names. He called Chris Wallace of Fox News 'Chuck' this weekend and it seems there's a gaffe a day. 150 million Americans killed by gun violence since 2007.....I know one can't really get a complete picture of his health from news snippets, but what I do see is troublesome, politics and his normal idiocy aside.I have to admit, Joe sounded temporarily lucid and coherent after winning the South Carolina primary this weekend. Today, he's back to normal.
