Our Air Assault School celebrates 11 years of educating and training soldiers of the Colombian Armed Forces, its work has allowed men and women to carry out air assault missions throughout the national territory, in order to protect the Colombian sovereignty.

The Colombian Military Forces, led by the Commander General Giraldo and BG Mosquera, welcome Mrs. General Laura Richardson, Commander of the United States Southern Command U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) on her visit to Colombia, responsible for defense and security cooperation with partner countries in the Caribbean. In this way, she confirms the bilateral cooperation ties and consolidates the strategic relationship to strengthen security and environmental issues, among others, as well as training for members of the Colombian Milityary Forces
 
Airmen from the South Carolina Air National Guard are working hard during exercise RelámpagoVII with their Fuerza Aérea Colombiana partnership program counterparts! This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the South Carolina National Guard's partnership with Colombia.

RelámpagoVII provides crucial training and provides real world benefits by improving the readiness of U.S. and Colombian military personnel through joint interoperability training. Strengthening Partnerships
