ALLINGHAM William Johnston, Squadron Leader 77332, Royal Air Force (VR) died 27th October 1941 aged 56. He was the son of James and Elizabeth and was the husband of Annie of Middleton, Lancashire. He is at rest in Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, County Down.
This memorial was unveiled 5th June 2011 and is situated at Kings Street, Tullycarnet, East Belfast, Northern Ireland
On a gable wall to the left there is a mural of James Joseph Magennis. Ireland's only V.C. holder
The Chancel was transformed into a memorial. The names of the fallen in both World Wars are in matching tablets one each side of the stained glass window on the south wall.
