A 1944 produced B-17G , now of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Osh Kosh ,Wisconsin taking off to get in on the HEAVY IRON flyby and simulated bombing runs.
The Confederate Air Force's B-17G Texas Raiders at Ghost Sqd air show in Columbus,Indiana at Bakalar Field an old abandoned airbase .WW2 days through USAF days .
This is"Sentimental Journey" one of the Confederate Airforce's 2 B-17G's. The great nightstalker once again blazing away at the dreaded huns.She stayed in town for about a week at our local airport June 1989, and my son and daughter visited her every day with me.
I was very lucky to be invited inside for a walk about . I am I believe looking at manual on the wall . Even luckier my son and daughter got to also.To much to even put in to words.I live in what I consider a small community 20,000, but we are blessed with an unusal large amount of Warbirds...
