Louisa SOUTH. Born 27th March 1881 in England died 17th March 1886 aged 5 years.
William Henry SOUTH. Born 22nd August 1883 died 23rd April 1886 aged 2 years and 8 months, at Pembroke Camp, Pembroke Garrison Malta aged 5 years.
Children of Quarter Master Sergeant William Henry South and Emma Jane, nee Boorham his wife.
QMS South was serving with the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry stationed at Pembroke Camp, Pembroke, Malta.
“This monument is erected by Major Alexander 1st Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry as a token of respect for the above N.C. Officer.”
