William DANIEL

Thomas William DANIEL. Acting Sergeant 11258, 6th Royal Fusiliers.

Born 1889 to Edward and Mary Daniel, nee Street. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at Longton Road, Bucknall. 1911 (name registered as William Thomas Daniel) with his parents and siblings at 20, Longton Road, Bucknall, Stoke on Trent, occupation crate maker.

Joined up 5 January 1915 aged 25 years and 5 months. Posted to France 1 June 1915 invalided to England 17 May 1916. Admitted into Military Hospital (unable to read name of hospital) from 18 May 1916 to 25 May 1916 suffering from myalgia. He was discharged as Acting Sergeant 3 March 1917 as being no longer physically fit for war service.

Died at his home 20 April 1921 aged 32.
