William GARWOOD. Sergeant RMA5800 Royal Marine Artillery. Born 1878 died 11th April 1910 aged 32. in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta from a bullet wound of the abdomen whilst endeavouring to obtain a revolver during custody of Gunner RMA8043 Arthur Alonzo Bagley, Royal Marine Artillery who had drew his relover intending to shoot someone else, when the relover discharged either through mishap or design. His widow was informed of his death 12th April 1910. At rest in Plot B Grave 181, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta (Unmarked burial)

N.B. Gunner 8043 Arthur Alonzo Bagley born 12th May 1881, enlisted 20th March 1889. in 1901 in the Royal Marine Artillery stationed at Eastney Barracks, Portsmouth.
