William BOGGIS. Pioneer, C Company 1st Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry died 19th December 1887 aged38 and 11 months . Son of William and Eliza (nee Catchpole) who 1851 were living as a family at Flempton, Bury St Edmunds In 1871 he was still living with his parents and sister in Flempton and was now employed as a brickmaker. 1881 there are two returns in which he is mentioned. His parents had entered his name and he was living with his parents at 70, Eastgate Street, Bury St Edmunds and still employed as a brickmaker. The other he is in the army as a private, stationed at Aldershot, Hampshire with the 32nd Light Infantry aged 32.
