Walter Charles Richard BOND. (Mentioned in Despatches). Able Seaman P/J11313 Royal Navy on HMS Courageous, Fleet Air Arm, aged 38 years. Born 15th January 1895 at Netley, Hampshire to Walter and Sarah Jackson of 2 Millstone Cottages, Northam, Southampton. 1911 he was serving in the Royal Navy as Boy Class 2 aged 16 on HMS Impregnable, Devonport Enlisted 20 February 1911 onto HMS Impregnable.

Re-Enlisted 20th February 1928 on HMS Impregnable. Civilian occupation, brewers labourer. Died 5th February 1933 aged 38 years at Royal Naval Hospital Bighi, Malta of pneumonia.
At rest in Plot D Grave 622 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
