Made by Rheinmetall Landsysteme, the Sprfuchs NBC reconnaissance vehicle is capable of quickly sniffing out nuclear, bacteriological and chemical agents in the air and on the ground over large surfaces. Because it is both extremely manoeuvrable in off-road terrain as well as being amphibious, the Sprfuchs can reliably detect NBC agents even under difficult external conditions. The crew can carry out all of its tasks without leaving the vehicle (to include the taking of soil samples, as shown here), and is reliably protected against NBC agents by an integrated air purification system.
