Corporal 24208450 Robert Thomas F MOFFETT, 8th County Tyrone Battalion.
Killed 3 March 1974 aged 35. At rest in Tullnaisken Churchyard, Newmills, County Tyrone.
Source for the following, Issue 26 The Troubles.
He was killed aged 35 and three others were injured when a huge PIRA 200lb bomb was detonated as two land rovers on mobile patrol were travelling along the Omagh to Cookstown Road at Dunnamore, near Cookstown, County Tyrone the 3rd March 1974. He and the other casualties were in the second Land Rover, which ran into the 12ft wide and 3ft deep crater, caused by the blast
