Lance Corporal 24244436 Stanley Desmond ADAMS, 8th County Tyrone Battalion. He was shot dead by the PIRA while delivering mail at Altomore, County Tyrone on the 28th October 1976 aged 29. He was off duty. At rest in Pomeroy Presbyterian Churchyard, County Tyrone.
