In grateful memory of the men of PEBWORTH who gave their lived in the

Second World War 1939 – 1945.

Corporal 1533722 Lionel Algie BATCHELOR. 2817 Squadron, RAF Regiment, Royal Air Force. Died 7 June 1944 aged 21. Son of M. and Eliza Batchelor, of Pebworth, Worcestershire. Commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey.

Sapper 1904148 Algy Ernest HOPKINS 656 Coy.
Royal Engineers. Died 19 March 1943 aged 29. Son of George and Alma Hopkins, husband of Elsie M Hopkins, of Pebworth, Worcestershire, England.
At rest at Johannesburg West Park Cemetery, Gauteng, South Africa.

Fusilier 4202263 Frederick W G SANFORD. 1st Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Died 5 May 1944 aged 30. Commemorated on the Rangoon Memorial, Burma.

Erected by the people of the parish.

The War Memorial is in St Peter's Church, Pebworth, Worcestershire.
