Private 39475 Verney Edgar ALLARD. 1st Royal Berkshire Regiment. Died 23 March 1918 aged 19. Son of Meshach and Mary Ann Allard, of 4, Council Cottages, Pebworth, Worcestershire. At rest in St Pierre Cemetery, Amiens, Somme, France.
Private 881 Walter John CLARKE. 2nd Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action 31 October 1914. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
Lance Corporal 12196 Hubert COLDICOTT. 6th Dorsetshire Regiment. Died 9 August 1915 aged 24. Son of Henry and Ellen Coldicott, of 7, Broad Marston Road, Pebworth, Worcestershire. At rest in La Brique Military Cemetery No 1, Belgium
Lance Corporal 28471 Henry John Thomas FERRIMAN. 13th Service Battalion, Forest of Dean Pioneers, Gloucestershire Regiment. Died 8th November 1918 aged 30. Born in 1888 at Whichford, Warwickshire to George William and Jane Ferriman, nee Westbury of (1911) Honeybourne, Worcestershire. In 1914 he married Eliza Ann Dyde in the Registration District of Evesham. She was granted a war gratuity on the 10 October 1919. At rest in Perreuse Chateau Franco British National Cemetery, France.
Lance Corporal 11822 William FOSTER. 2nd Royal Berkshire Regiment. Died 9th May 1915 aged 21. Son of Thomas and Ellen Elizabeth Foster, of 5, Council Cottages, Pebworth, Worcestershire, brother of Albert Edward who also fell. Commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Hainaut, Belgium.
Private 51798 Albert Edward FOSTER. 1/5th Gloucestershire Regiment. Died 12 November 1918 aged 21. Son of Thomas and Ellen Elizabeth Foster, of 5, Council Cottages, Pebworth, Worcestershire, brother of William who also fell. At rest in St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
Private 97593 John GARDNER. 220th Coy, Machine Gun Corps. Died 12 October 1917. Son of Mrs. E. Gardner, of Pebworth, Worcestershire. At rest in Godewaersvelde British Cemetery, Nord France.
Private 52100 Charles GORMAN. 3rd Gloucestershire Regiment. (CWGC have 1st Bn). Died 6 November 1918 aged 25. Born at Broad Marston near Pebworth, Worcestershire. Son of William Smith Gorman and Agnes Gorman, of 216, Southgate St., Gloucester. At rest in Premont British Cemetery, France.
Driver 11410 Heneage HEMMINGS. 209th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Died 7th December 1914 aged 26 at Tidworth Military Hospital. He had served less the 6 months. Son of Heneage and Mary Hemmings, of The Mason's Arms, Pebworth, Worcestershire. At rest in Pebworth Cemetery, Worcestershire.
Private 53366 Norman William HEMMINGS. 4th Somerset Light Infantry. Died 12 November 1918 aged 26 in a military hospital. Son of Heneage and Mary Hemmings, of The Mason's Arms, Pebworth, Worcestershire. His father was granted a war gratuity 31 March 1919. At rest in Pebworth Cemetery, Worcestershire.
Riflleman S/27902 Albert Henry HEMMINGS. 16th Rifle Brigade. Died 14 February 1917 aged 19. Son of Heneage and Mary Hemmings, of The Masons Arms, Pebworth, Stratford-on-Avon. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
He joined up aged 18 years and 4 months on the 4 May 1916 and posted to army reserve. He resided at the Mason Arm, Pebworth with his parents, occupation butcher. On the 4 February 1916 he was posted to 11th Gloucestershire Regiment at the Regimental Depot at Horfield, Bristol and given number 28220. On the 16 November 1916 he was transferred to the Rifle Brigade , army number S/27902. He embarked for France on the 18 November 1916 embarking from Southampton disembarking the same day at Le Havre and sent to 47 Infantry Base Depot at Le Harve to await dispersal to his regiment. He was put on the nominal roll for the 16th Rifle Brigade on the 2 December 1916 and posted the his unit on the 5th. The 14t February 1917 he was killed in action.
Private 16261 Frederick Thomas MASON. 9th Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action 7 January 1917 aged 20. Born in Skethrury, South Wales to Evan and Ellen Mason, of Halvins, Alfrick, Worcester. At rest in Amara War Cemetery, Iraq.
Gunner 159210 Francis James Lawson MOSELEY. 59th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 16 July 1918. His widow Mary J nee Stretton was granted a war gratuity 30 September 1918 revised 2 December 1919. At rest in Bienvillers Military Cemetery, France.
Private 24526 Leonard Geoge PAGETT. 12th Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed in action 3 September 1916 aged 21. Reuben George and Mary Ann Pagett nee Wakefield of 260, Monument Road, Birmingham, formerly of Pebworth.
Private 26863 Thomas RIMELL. 7th Gloucestershire Regiment. Died 16 July 1917. Son of J David and Ann Rimell nee Mayo. His father David was granted a war gratuity 27 March 1918 revised 31 December 1919. At rest in North Gate War Cemetery, Baghdad, Iraq. (See photograph)

Rifleman 473977 Percy TROTMAN. 1/12th London Regiment. (The Rangers) Died 9 September 1916 aged 22. Husband of Winifred Myriam Mary Trotman, of Glebe Bungalow, Ullington, Honeybourne, Worcestershire. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.

Private 40584 Arthur FARMER. 7th Norfolk Regiment. Died of severe bullet wounds to his leg and shoulder 28 April 1917 aged 32 at No7 Canadian General Hospital, France. Son of Tom and E Farmer, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, husband of Sarah Jane Farmer, nee Lane, of Front Street, Pebworth, Stratford-on-Avon. His wife was granted a war gratuity 2 August 1917 revised 1 November 1919. At rest in Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
