Lance Corporal 46667 8th Northumberland Fusiliers died 19/6/1917 age 30. Son of John and Mary (1891 Census) of 3 Court, 9 Mill Street, Leek. Husband of Martha 19 Fountain Street Leek and brother of William who also fell. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial Ypres Belgium
