Corporal 40027, 2/7th Lancashire Fusiliers formerly 197585, Royal Army Service Corps killed in action in France 21st March 1918 aged 28. Son of Christopher and Clara of Heath House, Newcastle, Staffordshire. Native of Fenton, Stoke on Trent. (Please note on the memorial the surname is incorrect)

Commemorated on a family memorial in Hartshill Cemetery, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
Buried in Unicorn Cemetery, Venduile, Aisne, France
