Mary Eden Lyal PRINGLE. CAMC of No 3 Canadian Stationary Hospital.
Born 4 September 1893 in Glasgow to William and Ada Pringle nee Renals. The family emigrated to Canada and she gave her residence in Canada as 261, 29th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia.
She died of wounds, aged 24, as the result of No 3 Canadian Stationary Hospital being bombed on the 30 May 1918 at the citadel near Doullens, France, along with Agnes MacPherson and Dorothy Baldwin who also died of their wounds. All three were assisting a surgery in the operating room.
At rest in Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, Somme, France.
