Extended Description
Martin Jon LAMB. Rifleman 25179873, 1st Rifles was killed by an improvised explosive device (IED) while on a patrol in the Haji Kareen area of the Nahr-e Saraj (South) district on the 5th June 2011 aged 27. Native of Dursley, Gloucestershire and enlisted into the army September 2003 After he passed out he was posted to the 1st Battalion The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire & Wiltshire Regiment. At rest in St Bartholomews Churchyard, Cam Pitch, Cam, near Dursley, Gloucestershire GL11 5JX in grave G30

This poppy cross memorial was at the Basra Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire on the 12th November 2015
