Born 22nd September 1885 at Devonport, Devon, enlisted 29th October on HMS Defiance occupation prior to enlistment, engine fitter and turner. Died 8th December 1926 aged 41 years at Royal Naval Hospital Bighi, Malta from abscess of the lung and septic pneumonia.Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was 8 Auckland Road, Devonport died on date and place stated. His effects went to Bessie Marshall wife of Edward John Marshall.
