- HILLSTON John James. Private, 12295, C Coy, 9th Warwickshire Regiment, formerly Private 53914 Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 10th December 1915 aged 35 years from frost bite in a military hospital in Malta. Son of John and Alice Hillston nee Gadsby. In 1901 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 54 Hill Street, Stapenhill, Staffordshire.
At rest in Plot C Grave 292 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
