Rifleman 30034316 James Richard Kenneth BACKHOUSE, 2nd Rifles died 10th July 2009 aged 18. He was one of five men who were all killed in action together near a Forward Operating Base Wishtan in Sangin, Helmand province.

At rest in Castleford Cemetery, Wakefield Road, Castleford, WF10 4LL in Section 1-NEW EXT, Grave 206

This Pebble Memorial was at the Basra Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire on the 12th November2015
