Died 17th July 1920 aged 22 years in a hospital in Malta from enteric fever. His widow Gertrude Ethel nee While (not White) of 14 Clifton Road Gloucester City was informed of his death. On the 11th January 1919 at St Luke's Church, Gloucester he married Gertrude While (no White) aged 23. He was aged 21 and serving with the Royal Marine Light Infantry. At rest in Plot D Grave 462 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
