George SHERRATT. Private 25965, 10th Lincolnshire Regiment.
Born 1889 to George and Harriett Sherratt. 1891 residing with his parents and siblings at High Street, Bucknall. 1901 with his parents and siblings at Werrington Road, Bucknall. 1911 with his parents and siblings at 51 High Street, Bucknall, Stoke on Trent, occupation, mould maker in a pottery. Husband of Annie Sherratt.
Killed in action in France, 28 April 1917 aged 28. His widow was granted a war gratuity 8 August 1917 revised 21 October 1919.
Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.
Commemorated on a family headstone in in St Mary Churchyard Bucknall, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
