John TURNER. Driver 207361, 12th Divisional Signal Coy, Royal Engineers.
Born 1895 to James and Mary Ann Turner Staffordshire. 1911 with his widowed father and siblings at 22 Bucknall Road, Ivy House Yard, Hanley. At the time of his death his father was residing at 5 Ivy House Road, Hanley, Stoke on Trent. Died in France 22 November 1918 aged 23. His father was granted a war gratuity 15 May 1919.
At rest in Brebieres British Cemetery, France.
Commemorated on a family headstone in St Mary Churchyard Bucknall, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
