BURNS George Shipwright 2nd Class M/14047 Royal Navy on HMS Blenheim. Born 4 November 1887 at Glasgow Lanarkshire enlisted 24 June 1915 on HMS Pembroke II, occupation prior to enlistment, shipwright. Died 27th February 1916 aged 29 by cutting his own throat with a razor in a fit of depression following an alcoholic axcess on board HMS Blenheim. No one else was to blame. Verdict suicide. His father John resided at 491 Govan Road, Govan Glasgow, Scotland. At rest in Plot C Grave 306 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
