- BATEMAN George. Private, 17974, 6th Lincolnshire Regiment.
He was wounded at Gallipoli, invalided to Malta and died at 8.30 a.m. in Imtarfa Military Hospital, Malta 15th November 1915, aged 19 years,
He was the son of Alfred and Lily Ann Bateman, of Cliff Farm, Marston, Grantham.
