G115 PETER HARLEY HASELWOOD ROBERTS. Lieutenant Commander Royal Navy on H.M.S. Sovereign. Born 25 August 1899 at Islington, London to Reginald John and Alice Caroline Roberts, nee Kett. 1901 residing with his parents at 63 Gladsmine Road, Islington, London. 1911 his parents were residing at Upwey, Alpine Road, Ventnor Isle of Weight. He enlisted into the Royal Navy May 1912, promoted to Sub-Lieutenant 15 July 1917, Lieutenant Commander 15 June 1923. On the 22 July 1928 he married Constance Maud Elsie Wolfe at Melcombe Regis, Dorset. Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 1 March 1933 aged 33 from a perforated duodenal ulcer. Son of Alice C. and Dr. Reginald J. Roberts, of Ventnor, Isle of Wight, husband of Constance Maud Elsie. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was Chalbury Lodge, Preston, Weymouth, Dorsetshire. Died at on date and place stated. His effects went to his widow.
