E. EA. A. 654. Felix John BRADY. Private 1781, 18th Australian Infantry died 13th September 1915. He joined up on the 18th May 1915 aged 21 years and 11 months. He lived at North Sydney, and his occupation was a deck hand. His next of kin was his sister Miss Bertha Brady of 10 Paul Street, Milions Point, Sydney. His medals went to his eldest brother, P F Brady of Audley, Darwall Street, North Sydney.
On the 27th August 1915 he received a gun shot wound to his chest and shoulder and was treated at Mudros. He was treated at Anzac by the 16th Casualty Clearing Station. On the 5th September 1915 he was transferred to Hospital Ship, Nile at Mudros. On the 9th September 1915 he was admitted into Military Hospital, Floriana where he died of gun shot wound to the lung. on the 13th September 1915 He was laid to rest the following day at Addolorata Cemetery, Malta.
BURNES William John. Private 497, 19th Australian Infantry died of appendicitis and peritonitis 21st September 1915. He joined up on the 1st March 1915 aged 34 and 9 months. He lived with his wife Elizabeth Ellen and children Daisy Mary and Edward William at Crown Street, Junce, New South Wales and was a labourer. He had previously served with the Australian Light Horse Expedition. He embarked Sydney on H.M.A.T. A40 Ceramic on the 25th June 1915 for Egypt He was taken ill with appendicitis and peritonitis at Anzac while in action. At some stage he was transferred to Malta on Hospital Ship Gascon and admitted into Military Hospital Imtarfa on the 12th September 1915. He is at Addolorata Cemetery, Malta.
