F035 WILLIAM FLEMING. Corporal, 411135 3 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force stationed in Malta. Born 1920 to William and Florence Louisa Fleming, Gordon, New South Wales, Australia. He enlisted aged 21 years and 1 month at No2 Recruiting Centre, New South Wales as Aircraftman 2nd Class. Civilian occupation, qualified butcher. Residence, 776 Pacific Highway, Gordon, New South Wales.

Died in 45 General Hospital, Pembroke Garrison, Malta 21st July 1943 aged 23 years of sever burns over his entire body whilst on active service at Sicily. His death occurred as a result of an accidental explosion while using petrol to 'delouse' a newly-occupied building near the airfield at Pachino, Sicily.
