Eric William Richard MAWHOOD. Lieutenant (A), Royal Naval (VR) on HMS Dipper died 26th August 1944 aged 33. Son of Claud George and Myra Gladys Mawhood, nee Stratton. In 1911 aged 1 month he was living with his parents at 148 Meadow Head, Woodseats Yorkshire. (His father was killed in action on the 14th September 1916 as Lieutenant, West Riding Regiment). Husband of Joan Marguerite Mawhood, of Arundel, Sussex. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He was living with his wife at Horsington, near Wincanton, Somerset. At rest in All Saints churchyard, Stone, Gloucestershire.
