- E054 Herbert Edward JONES. Private 8313, 2nd West Yorkshire Regiment. Born at Godalming, Waverley, Surrey to James Thomas and Caroline Ann Jones, nee Head. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 23 Dowden Place, Headingley cum Burley, Yorkshire. Enlisted 9 January 1907 occupation prior to enlistment, farm labourer. Died 7th August 1914. His father James was granted a war gratuity 15 September 1914 revised 15 August 1919.
Originally interred in Rinella Military Cemetery Plot O Row 1 Grave 2 re-interred in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta in 1978.
