- E022 Walter Redvers Percy STANDEN, Commissioned Master-at-Arms, M37116 HMS St.Angelo. Died 23rd May 1947 aged 47 years at St Angelo Hospital. Born 25 February 1900 to Arthur Edward and Elizabeth Standen, nee Dring and husband of Jean Standen, of Gillingham, Kent. 1911 he was residing with his parents at 70 Manor Park Road, Harlesden, London N.W. He enlisted as Boy 2nd Class on HMS Powerful 1 September 1915, J44878, occupation prior to enlistment errand boy. Transferred 16 October 1922 as Acting R.P.O. M37116. Wills and Admin, Ancestr - His residence in England was 55 Second Avenue, Gillingham Kent. His effects went to his widow, Jean and Arthur Edward Standen, commissionaire.
