Dorothy Maud CHANDLER. Sister 2nd Res/C659, QAIMNS at The Queen Alexandra Military Hospital, London.

Born 28 January 1886 at Margate, Kent to James Alexander and Sarah Alice Chandler, nee Bell. 1901 residing her parents and siblings at Inglewood, South Street, Epsom. 1901 with parents and siblings at Ladbrook Street, Epsom. 1911 aged 25 Probationary Hospital Nurse for Poor Law, Epsom Board of Guardian at Epsom Union Workhouse, Dorking Road, Epsom. Her widowed mother for the same years was residing at Chesterfield Road, West Ewell, Epsom. At the time of her daughter’s death her mother was residing at 12, Park Villas, Cheam, Surrey. She served with 26th General Hospital, France.

Died 15 November 1917 aged 31 of a cerebral embolism at the Queen Alexandra’s Nurses Hospital, Vincent Square, Westminster, London, England.
