Born 1914 to Richard Frederick and Nora Cole, of Quenington, Gloucestershire.
Trained at the Royal Free Hospital, 1936-1939
Died as the result of enemy bombing at sea whilst serving on hospital ship Newfoundland 13 September 1943 aged 29 years.
Five other nurses were also killed.
Commemorated on the Cassino Memorial, Italy.

Dorothy Mary Cole of Coneygres, Quenington near Fairford Gloucestershire, spinster, died on date stated. Her effects went to her father, farmer.
