Our Roll of Honour.
Staff Nurse Bessie COLTMAN, who died recently at Lenzie, was buried with military honours at Alloa, Scotland. Miss Coltman transferred from a civilian to a military hospital at the outbreak of war, and had seen service abroad, both in East and Central Africa and in Malta. For devotion to duty, she was awarded the M.B.E. a few months ago. It is possible that she passed away from an infection contracted whilst serving her country nursing military personnel overseas.
