Born 18 July 1887 in Clifton, Bristol to Henry and Margaret Croom Crewdson, nee Fergusson of Nottingham.
1891 residing with her parents and siblings at 7 Cavendish Road, Standard Hill, Nottinghamshire. 1901 with her parents and brother, Henry at 25 Lenton Avenue, Standard Hill, Nottinghamshire.
Died of disease (peritonitis) 12 March 1919 aged 32.
A gratuity was granted to Miss Annie Griffen 24 November 1919. At rest in Etaples Military Cemetery, France

Miss Dorothea Mary Lynette Crewdson, B.E.C.S. (V.A.D.)
For gallantry and devotion to duty during an enemy air raid. Although herself wounded, this lady remained at duty and assisted in dressing the wounds of patients. She superintended the work of the convoy, drove an ambulance car herself during the raid, and by her coolness and disregard for her own safety ensured the prompt removal of the wounded to hospital.
