This is a female employee of the Deutsche Reichsbahn or DR this was the operating name of state owned railways in the German Democratic Republic & later East Germany it remained under that name even after reunification until 31 December 1993
This photo was taken in Stuttgart 1940 prior to the East/West split and during WW2
