Born 19 March 1895 at Oxford Haren, Suffolk to Walter and Kate Jeffery. In 1911 residing with his siblings and parents at 18 Unicorn Street, Portsea, Hampshire. Enlisted 9 June 1913 on HMS Victory civilian occupation, clerk. 1918 married May Blomeley in the Registration District of Portsmouth. Last service date 25 October 1927. Re-engaged 9 June 1935 as Pensioner P/MX51643, Vernon Club. Died 22nd September 1940 aged 45.
