Private 14654763, 6th North Staffordshire Regiment, Special Air Service died of wounds 9th July 1944 at Normandy. Son of Thomas Patrick & Gertrude of Stafford. He is mentioned on s seperate memorial at the grave of Thomas & Trix Goodyer at Stafford (New) Cemetery and is buried at Ranville War Cemetery, France
On the 28th January 2011 I had cause to return to this cemetery and found that the above memorial is now at the grave of his parents, All except his name the remainder was below the ground.
