HARVEY William James. Private 10661 Gloucestershire Regiment. Died in Military Hospital Tigne, Malta on the 19th August 1915 from wounds received in action. Born at Nailsworth Gloucestershire, baptised on the 20th December 1891 at Horsley, Gloucestershire son of Charles and Emily Jane. In 1901 he was living with his parents at Washpool, near Horsley, Gloucestershire. In 1908 he married to Ellen Herbert at Stroud Register Office, Gloucestershire. In 1911 he was living at Downend, near Horsley with his wife, Ellen and children. He was employed as a farm labourer. His widow was granted a war gratuity on the 7th January 1916, revised on the 21st August 1919.

KIRK Henry. Private, 15351, 9th , West Yorkshire Regiment, Died of dysentery on the 20th August 1915 either at sea bound for Malta or in a military hospital in Malta which he contracted while at the Dardanelles. Born at Woodhouse, Leeds and lived at Knaresborough, Yorkshire. His widow Annie was granted a war gratuity on the 20th December 1915, revised on the 6th August 1919.
