Chamberlayne Thomas Edmund Onslow

Lieutenant, 73rd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, killed in action on the Somme, 18th May 1916 aged 23. Son of Tankenille J P & Edith of Cranbury Park, Hampshire. Edcuated at Winchester College and Mortpn College Oxford, from where he went into Army Officers Training Corps where on the 6th October 1914 passed out with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.. He was previously wounded at the battle of Loos in September 1915 and is buried at Dantzig Alley British Cemetery, Mametz, Somme, France

This memorial is situated at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
