Carro Armato M13/40 Medium Battle Tank

Made by Fiat Italy
Italian tanks were notorious for their bad design. Crews were expected to wear a heavy leather coat, even in the heat of N Africa to prevent wounds from spall when the tank took a hit.

Those rivet heads had a bad habit of bouncing around the tank's interior.

The designs were so consistently bad, Rommel is quoted as saying, "it would curl one's hair to see the equipment with which the duce sent his troops into battle."
