Benjamin John McGowan HYDE

Extended Description: Lance Corporal 25133133 Benjamin John McGowan HYDE. Adjutant General's Corps Royal Military Police, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire, was one of six British soldiers gunned down in the town of Al Majar al-Kabir on Tuesday 24th June 2003 aged 23 years.
They were members of the 156 Provost Company, part of the 16th Air Assault Brigade, based in Colchester.

Commemorated on the Northallerton Memorial and is at rest in the cemetery also on a memorial plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas Staffordshire.
