Amy CURTIS, nee Chamberlain. Probationer Nurse VAD, attached to 1st Western General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born 1888 to Charles and Emily Chamberlain at Wolverhampton.

1891 census with her parents and siblings at 35 Dunstall Street, Wolverhampton. 1901 with her parents at Railway House, Gwersyllt, Denbighshire. 1911 with her husband James Curtis and daughter aged 1yr at 17 Llandaff St Queens Park Manchester

11 July 1918 she was a widow and residing at Railway House, Gwersylt, Wrexham.

Died in Auxiliary Hospital, Oenkett, Wallasey of influenza and pneumonia whilst on duty 06 November 1918 aged 30.

A war gratuity was granted to her mother 24 March 1919 revised 8 January 1920. Commemorated in the United Kingdom Book of Remembrance, Berkshire.
