ALWAYS Arthur. L/Cpl 127580 42nd Canadian Inf (Quebec Regt) died 31/10/1917 age 22. Son of George and Annie of Marlwood Lodge, Thornbury, Native of Alveston. Commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial Belgium.
BIDDLE Herbert George Private 5298, 10th Prince of Wales Own Royal Hussars, died of wounds 1.6.1915 age 28. Born in Rudgeway, Bristol. Commemorated at Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery Belgium.
CLEMENTS Charles. Private 17068, 6th South Wales Borderers killed in action 20th February 1916 Born at Newport, enlisted at Aberbeeg both in Monmouthshire and buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension Nord France.

His father was killed in a flying accident over Whitchurch, Somerset, 2nd August 1938.
